Mandala 03:25

about

Mandala is the thirty second single from Rove Monteux, accompanying his fourteen albums, in his solo career into Classical, Cinematic, Drama, Neobaroque, Neoclassical and Electronic music.

Following on Rove Monteux’s song “Valentia”, the single has a geometrical concept in music, where the music mutates and the ends meet, and is themed on a metallic mutating mandala, on a neoclassic setting with influences of Classical, Baroque, Cinematic, Arabic and Levantine music.

A mandala is a geometric design or pattern that represents the universe in Hinduism and Buddhism. The word "mandala" comes from Sanskrit and means "circle." Mandalas are often circular in shape and contain intricate patterns, shapes, and symbols arranged around a central point.

Mandalas are used in spiritual practices as a tool for meditation and concentration. They are also used as a symbolic representation of the cosmos, with the center representing the universe and the surrounding patterns representing the interconnectedness and harmony of all things.

Mandalas can be created in a variety of media, including sand, paint, and digital art. They are often used as a form of therapy, as creating or coloring a mandala can be a calming and centering activity.

The word "mandala" has its origin in Sanskrit, an ancient Indo-Aryan language that originated in the Indian subcontinent. The term "mandala" is derived from two Sanskrit words, "manda," which means "essence," and "la," which means "container" or "vessel.”.

In Hinduism and Buddhism, mandalas are typically circular or geometric designs that represent the universe and are used as an aid to meditation or as a tool for spiritual growth. The word "mandala" is used to describe both the circular design and the practice of creating and meditating on it.

Mandalas are found in various cultures and traditions around the world, including Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, and Native American cultures, among others. They are often used as a symbol of wholeness, balance, and unity, and are believed to help the individual connect with the divine or higher self.
